WHO’S DRIVING THE BUS?
Attaining happiness, emotional ease, self-acceptance, spiritual fulfilment, achievement of life vision, satisfying relationships, work-life balance, that elusive, dimly perceived state of grace where one feels complete, whole and connected, all beg one question: “ If I’m on a journey, who’s behind the wheel?’’
Most of us would not hesitate in replying, “I am.”
No journey is undertaken without some hoped-for outcome or goal. The goal begins in the imagination, beckoning us to begin the quest. Some get behind the wheel of the bus and complete the journey successfully.
Others make it but arrive with burnt out engines, no sense of fulfilment and no passengers. For still others of us, the goal becomes hazy as motivation wanes; the highway is strewn with obstacles, traffic jams and hold-ups; we follow detours; we lose our way; we struggle with self-doubt; we self-flagellate over our deficiencies of focus, will-power and ability.
Someone else is driving the bus!
At U Power we put you in the driver’s seat. Using a variety of innovative coaching and self-awareness techniques, we empower you to tap into your own potential so that moving forward and upward is possible. We assist you to:
. determine goals to ensure your life is balanced
. enhance motivation and achievement by aligning your goals and actions with your true values, purpose, needs and wants
. remove blocking forces to success
. gain clarity so that you can see the wood instead of just the trees
. get going when you feel you’re stuck
. grow and continue growing with a tool kit, whether you are eighteen or eighty
. nurture the inner child
. identify and balance negative core beliefs
. anchor yourself in concrete, not quicksand
. tap into potential
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WHEN YOU TAP INTO YOUR OWN POTENTIAL

COACHING METHODOLOGY
Basic to the coaching process and coaching partnership is client empowerment. You, the client, own the issue, goal or desired behavioural change, set the agenda for one-to one sessions with the coach, choose the direction of the discussion, define the outcomes and comit to action. The coach simply facilitates the process and ensures accountability for action.
There are various coaching strategies which form a repertoire common to all coaches. At U Power, while we draw heavily from Cognitive Behavioural Theory, we also incorporate innovative techniques such as NLP, Voice Dialogue, Balancing Inner Child - Self Aware Grown Up Behaviours and Negative Core Belief Balancing.
